🚧 Young people's wellbeing and resilience in uncertainty
Resilience in an uncertain world

Outward Bound is here to support young people in times of uncertainty.

Being young has never been easy.

And at this time, young people may feel even more anxious about the world they live in - and their future - than ever before.

Founded during the Second World War, Outward Bound has been here to help young people face challenge and manage uncertainty in their lives for almost 80 years.

This is now needed more than ever before.

We'll continue to help young people at this uncertain time - right now, over the next few months and into the future.

We're here to support their emotional and mental wellbeing, as well as help them to develop the skills and traits they need to face and take on an ever-changing world.

Resourcefulness.

To never give up.

Resilience.

Self-confidence.

Compassion.

These are all key to coping with change and stressful situations.

This much we know

A couple of months ago, we all glimpsed a small wave far away on the distant horizon. Little did any of us know that it would turn into a tsunami that has engulfed the entire globe with extraordinary speed.

How can you teach resilience?
