Hospitality manager (catering)

We're looking for an hospitality manager to look after the hospitality, catering and housekeeping teams at Outward Bound Ullswater and Howtown centres.

Location: You'll oversee the teams at our two outdoor centres at Ullswater and Howtown
Contract: Permanent / full time
Hours: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 6am - 8pm
Salary: circa £30,000 depending on experience
Holidays: 30 days a year

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the catering and housekeeping team
• Maintain good client relationships
• Deliver excellent service across food and housekeeping
• Ensure good customer satisfaction
• Manage the financial budgets
• Be part of the Ullswater and Howtown Centre Management Team

Outward Bound is a charity. Thousands of young people come to our centres every year for a few days of outdoor learning and adventure. Most of them have never left the city they live in, never mind come to the Lake District and see hills and sheep!

It's a full on experience for these young people, and knowing there is a warm, clean and friendly place to stay helps them settle in and make the most of their week - whatever the weather!
