Her Majesty The Queen
The Outward Bound Trust would like to express our deep sorrow at the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
As well as being Britain’s longest reigning monarch, Her Majesty was one of the world’s greatest supporters of charities, with over 600 Patronages of her own.
Today we remember her tremendous support of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s involvement with The Outward Bound Trust throughout their 73 year marriage and her lifelong commitment to young people. The photos here show a joint visit the couple made to our Aberdovey and Rhowniar centres in Wales in 1963.
We send our condolences to all members of the Royal Family.
