We're looking for general assistants to join our friendly team at our Ullswater and Howtown centres. This role is perfect for anyone who likes variety in their week as you'll be helping out in all areas of hospitality from housekeeping to basic food prep.

£10.92 per hour / permanent

Location: Outward Bound Ullswater and Howtown
Salary: £10.92 per hour (£22,713 per year plus benefits)
Hours: 30 hours Monday-Friday (no split shifts). And our contract hours are what we expect you to work... not longer as can often happen in hospitality.
Holidays: 32 days a year (pro rata). Rising by a day a year to a maximum of 38 days.

What you'll be doing

Outward Bound is a charity. Thousands of young people come to our centres every year for a few days of outdoor learning and adventure. Your day might include:

  • Housekeeping - cleaning and preparing bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Dining room - serving food, maintaining hygiene levels, clearing up and cleaning.
  • Kitchen - helping chef with small amounts of food preparation and tidying up.
