Go,go,go with Gilbert was the cry whilst undertaking the runabout course in the grounds of Holne Chase. Not so much shouting though in the early morning run to the river Dart and a line up on the bank to jump into the freezing cold water!! then run back for the porridge breakfast. Haven't eaten the stuff since, although I still eat plenty of baked beans and flapjacks.
What about Bakers Pit the pothole with the iron gates over the concrete pipe entrance, that was a bit daunting at the time, especially when you thought you might suffer from claustrophobia.
A month I will never forget, the lessons learned that have remained with me throughout my life.
