Dewi Pritchard - Aberdovey, Wales, 1974
As an apprentice with the NCB we were given the opportunity to attend a week's course at Aberdovey, not always enjoyable, but a challenge which sent me on a lifetime of outdoor activities and also helped me appreciate in a small way the sort of training my father undertook as a commando at achnacarry.
