Met some interesting young people from all over the world and did new things which I really enjoyed. A young swedish girl helped me with navigation (she was an expert sailor). Meeting new challenges on the river was interesting as I was a very weak swimmer - but- it didn't stop my enjoyment of kayak canoeing. I loved it.
Subsequently I spent some weeks as a volunteer holiday instructor.
The courses are brilliant.
